Mary Murphy, Managing Partner ; mmurphy@guidianconsulting.com

Ms. Murphy received an MBA from Duke University in 2001 after spending 12-years in the field of engineering working as a systems architect. After receiving her MBA, Ms. Murphy worked with organizations from a variety of industries doing strategic planning, market assessments, financial analysis and operational analysis and design.

Ms. Murphy has been consulting with healthcare organizations since 2002. Ms. Murphy has worked with clients advising on strategic planning for sustainable growth and expansion; evaluating health delivery systems in communities of various sizes specifically regarding access; developing long-term operational and facility development plans for individual organizations in challenging Medicaid and Uninsured markets.

Ms. Marchiando has an MBA in Health Systems Administration from the Graduate College of Union University and has worked in the health care industry since 1989. Ms. Marchiando began her career at Columbia University/NYS Psychiatric Institute where she held progressively responsible management roles that included facility development, grants management and physician practice management. Beginning in 1994, Ms. Marchiando developed and managed ambulatory care practices for Novant Health, an integrated health delivery system in North Carolina.

Since 2001, Ms. Marchiando has been consulting with health care organizations on setting strategic direction, evaluating health delivery systems in communities of various sizes, developing operational plans to improve efficiencies for individual organizations and health delivery systems, evaluating the effectiveness of implemented plans and strategic facility development.
